Art Licensing - Animals & Sprinkles

Image
Art Licensing - Animals & Sprinkles Art Licensing - Animals & Sprinkles by Carla Daly Creating animal art for kids is a big passion of mine. As you will see at my online shop selling gifts for babies - Gifts4Baby.ie . I have made a business out of animals! My big move recently is to start licensing art to the United States Of America, though I am not limiting myself there! The United States is obviously the biggest market. Giraffe, Lion, Zebra, Crocodile are a few of the animal images I have created. Trying not to set them in a traditional jungle background, I decided to add glasses and sprinkles to the images.  Licensing is a very interesting area to work in. I am trying to get my images more neutral. Maybe that's not the correct work but more mass appeal.  Kids images seem to have less colour in them and neutral colours are the fashion. My art is all about colour so not sure how this will work out!

Funfair!

Funfair rough soon to be available at gifts4baby.ie & babyartgifts.co.uk Funfair (unfinished) soon to be available at gifts4baby.ie & babyartgifts.co.uk I am trying to paint some new art for my websites gifts4Baby.ie and for the UK market babyartgifts.co.uk.   My next piece, (still unfinished) is of a funfair. when it is printed it will be hand personalised with baby's name, date of birth, family names, hospital name and other birth daetails. It will be a large print, printed on a heavy art paper. I think this will make a great gift for a newborn baby or a unique Christening gift. Here is the black and white rough and the early stages of the paint work. A long way to go but will post the final artwork soon!

And Another One!

CarlaDalyArt.ie is a small view of the work I have done in the past and hope to do in the future! From kids publishing, to kids wall decor to my hand painted vases I used to sell in Urbana, Temple Bar, Dublin.

St Patrick's Day

Image
Here in Ireland we are celebrating St Patrick's day on the 17th of March, a great day for the Irish! We all need a boost at the moment with the recession. So I hope you enjoy the craic (fun) on Paddy's Day. As lots of us in Ireland will be saying- Pionta Guinness, le do thoil (A pint of Guiness, please). So a- Beannachtaí na Féile Pádraig oraibh! (St. Patrick's Day blessing upon you). Above are a two nursery art prints I sell from my online shops - CarlaDaly.com and CarlaDaly.co.uk both with an Irish theme. Irish sheep enjoy a jig (Irish dance) and Paddy takes a few tourist on a trip through the Irish countryside.
