Counting Puzzle Ravensburger will be launching two of my images as puzzles in January 2014. My world map will be a 64 piece puzzle for kids 6+ and my counting puzzle will be a large 24 piece puzzle for 3+ years.  World Map They changed the counting puzzle to a landscape layout which I think looks great! I will keep you posted when they are available to buy, it will probably only be the the USA to start with.

Kids Wall Map Of Canada My kids wall map of Canada is finished, finally! It really was a big job but I am very happy with the outcome. It will be available to buy along with my USA map as a giant wall sticker from StickerYou.com Will keep you posted when it is available to buy.

Illustrated map of Canada It has taken me ages and I am still not finished! I am really enjoying illustrating this map of Canada, but need a little break from maps! I have illustrated it with the cities and the towns of the different states. Then I have added the animals from the region. I hope to have it finished in the next week, I will post the final image when it is completed. Hope you like it!

Unfinished Kids Map Of Canada I am really enjoying illustrating this map, Canada is a place I have wanted to visit for a long time, I have also wanted to create an illustrated map of Canada, and here it is! Well the early stages of it. There are some countries that just have great visuals associated with them and Canada is one of them. Their map and map colours, their native animals, the nature & cities.  Again, I am putting in the states, cities, lakes, oceans and the animals that inhabit this wonderful country. My Ravensburger map of the USA has won a PAL award . I am thrilled! Read the review below or here -  Ravensburger USA floor puzzle by Carla Daly As I brought out this 3 by 2 foot puzzle, my little 3 year-old friend declared, “ The United States of America!” and proceeded to recite the Pledge of Allegiance! He loved naming the animals like lobster, moose, orca and bear and seeing where they live. Designed for children 3 years and up, this puzzle has several levels of learning to it. Young ones can increase their animal vocabulary and learn where an elk, grizzly bear or beaver might live while a little older child can read the states and  bodies of water and learn their location. As usual, the hallmark Ravensburger quality including colorful engaging graphics as well as sturdy, thick pieces allow this puzzle to stand up to classroom use too.

Kids Map Of New York My New York map is finished, that took a while and a lot of work! What do you think?  My agent, Alicia Dauber of Licensing Liaison will be showing this map and my other work at Surtex, New York in May.

Nearly there! What do you think? Still a little way to  go but I think these  my final colours and layout.

First started with these colours....  Then these...... Working on some new map illustrations, decided to do my first American city, and, yes, New York it has to be! Not an easy task and I am far from finished but here are a few of the changes the illustrations has gone through. And finally....... Still unfinished, will post the final illustration soon.

Characters from Herdville What have I been up to? Well, as usual I working hard getting orders out to my customers from my website . Behind the scenes I am working on ideas for a kids animation series. This is no easy task, but is really good fun. I came across a great children's writer on Linked In, Chris McGuire. He is whipping all my character ideas into shape by  writing some great story lines for them! As always will keep you posted on any developments. Characters from Warty & Mitch
